The Only Pair of Spring – Summer Shoes You Actually Need for Day to Day

(That’ll Still Look Chic Next Spring Too) Let’s be honest — we’ve all bought the wrong shoes, that end up languishing in our closets. The one that’s too loud/too quiet (that “classic” you’re “supposed” to own), too expensive, and somehow manages to play well with nothing. Cute for a moment, but not exactly pulling its weight. This spring? We’re skipping the fuss. The shoes below are what I like to call “quietly fabulous” — easy, elevated, and real-life ready. For this roundup, think natural textures, soft metallics, pretty sparkle, and playful details that keep things interesting without trying too hard. Whether you’re running errands, heading to brunch, or on the Amalfi coast, these go with everything — and make you feel like the most pulled-together version of yourself. These are the shoes you’ll keep by the door. The ones you pack without overthinking. The ones that make a $40 dress look expensive and a basic tee and cutoffs feel intentional. Also, I’m pretty sure every single pair will play nicely with every single thing you already own and love… but make all your fits feel fresh. 📌 Pin This Look $110 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $38 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $150 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $1525 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $160 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $160 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $150 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $150 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $150 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $130 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $80.16 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $325 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $325 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $1525 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $160 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $350 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $595 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $735 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $125 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $295 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $295 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $295 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $295 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $280 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $280 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $280 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $280 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $325 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $295 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $345 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $195 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $129.95 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $129.95 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $1245 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $89.66 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $79 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $210 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $210 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $195 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $88.99 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $105.64 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $525 Take me there

The Best Walking Shoes for Travel

(That Aren’t Golden Goose, Veja, or Adidas) So, you’re planning to walk. A lot. Love that for you — and same! Walking around European cities is a whole vibe — so different from my American routine of driving everywhere. I’m a fan of walking (and walking) through places like Paris, where every corner feels like a postcard. But let’s talk shoes. You want comfort, style, and longevity — without defaulting to the usual suspects (no offense to Golden Goose, Veja, or Adidas). That’s why I’ve rounded up 50 pairs of stylish walking shoes for travel that offer great cost-per-wear and look good while doing it. Some are a little splurgy and trendy (looking at you, Louis Vuitton Sneakerinas), but most are reasonably priced and designed to keep up with your 20,000-step days. Whether you’re exploring Paris, Burgundy, or your favorite local trail, you’ll find a pair that fits your style and budget. Before I pick a new pair myself, though, I’m doing a little outfit tracking with Adjust My Crown to make sure I’m buying what actually works with my wardrobe — not just what looks cute on someone else. Pro tip: it’s not about matching but finding a pair that “goes” with what you actually wear. (If you’re curious about the Onitsuka Tiger’s, this podcast is a great listen. I love that the Tiger’s are making a “style” play decades later. Highly recommend the Nike episode I linked, but also the one on LVMH, and Hermes)  Ready to step up your travel shoe game? Let’s find your perfect pair. 📌 Pin This Do you see how every shoe looks effortlessly good with this dress (an Old Navy find at an incredible price point btw). Another thing I love about this dress is that it could double as a coverup if you’re in the South of France or Capri, etc. Sneakers add such a cool edge to dresses. Don’t overthink what “matches” and just make sure the colors “go together” instead of matching. Where you’re unsure, post options in the Adjust My Crown app. Give us some context in the comments. Maybe you’re stuck between two metallic shoe options? Tell us in the comments what colors you usually wear or anything that helps us vote and help you decide. 📌 Pin This Investing in an Erdem dress (yes, it’s over $1,200) can feel daunting, but think cost per wear — it’s a versatile staple that works countless ways. 1. Holiday Ready: Add pink accessories for a fresh take on red and green at Lyford. 2. Sporty Chic: Going to the Miami Open or Wimbledon? Pair with a straw hat for effortless style. 3. Travel Friendly: Lightweight and breathable, perfect for sightseeing with under-$50 sneakers. 4. Creative Tip: Don’t limit a designer piece to special occasions — mix high and low for more wear! 📌 Pin This When a look just works, you feel it. Start with a $10 white V-neck under a statement jacket — effortlessly chic. These silk pants are a game changer: temperature-regulating and super comfy with an elastic waistband. Travel: Perfect for the plane — breathable and stylish (and elastic!) Beach: Layer over a bikini for an easy cover-up. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant you barely got into? Pair with a sequin top for a glam night out. Casual: Throw on a basic tee for the market. Sneaker Chic: Dressy silk + sporty sneakers = fresh and modern. Silk pants are a style chameleon — from dinner to errands, they just work. 📌 Pin This Look $100 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $115 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $925 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $110 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $100 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $115 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $100 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $495 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $975 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $975 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $650 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $790 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $790 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $139 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $139 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $278 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $53.82 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $50 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $75 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $575 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $285 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $265 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $265 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $265 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $265 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $89 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $89 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $45 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $48.75 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $100 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $139 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $140 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $143.5 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $200 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $225 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $203 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $119 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $298 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $100 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $155 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $200 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $200 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $200 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $165 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $150 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $150 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $190 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $190 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $165 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $790 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $1345 Take me there 📌 Pin This Look $23 Take

Clothes on Someone Else? Helpful? Waste of Your Time?

Why Your Best Style Is All About You Over the past 20+ years of helping women find that aha moment — whether it’s cleaning out their closets, restyling what they already own, or finding a few new pieces — I’ve never met a single body that couldn’t have that transformative moment. And I’ve never met two bodies that were exactly alike. Realizing that truth over and over again has taught me something invaluable: every shape and size can have that wow moment when they finally see themselves differently. To get there, we usually have to forget about body types, ignore fashion rules and trends,  and embrace the body we have right now — whether it’s a transitional phase or not. Your Proportions Are One of a Kind Here’s a quick example: I’m 5’7”, but I wear petites on the bottom and can wear talls on top. That doesn’t sound “normal,” right? The usual wisdom says petites are for anyone under 5’4”, but my inseam? It’s a petite-friendly 25 inches — almost toddler length. If I listened to conventional advice, I’d feel like something was wrong with me. But the truth is, it’s just who I am. It’s never going to change, and I wouldn’t want it to. It’s a reminder to stop comparing yourself to others and instead see how something works on you. That’s why the side-by-side comparisons in the Adjust My Crown app are so powerful. You’re not looking at how jeans fit someone else — you’re looking at how two styles fit you. Compare two jean leg options — on your body. Compare two denim shades — on your shape. Compare two rises to see which one hits your waist just right — today, on today’s body. The key is not to worry about how something looks on someone else or what they recommend. Take every bit of advice with a grain of salt, and focus on how it looks and feels on you. That’s it. That’s all that really matters. If you love how you feel and look, that confidence will naturally follow. Why I Don’t Post My Own Outfits I’m here to support you — to curate thoughtful options, help you maximize cost-per-wear, and guide you through closet cleanouts. But I’m not here to model looks on my own body because it doesn’t help you find your best self. I’ll give you ideas and tips, but they’re meant for you to consider through the lens of your own body. Sure, I’m not a fan of being in front of the camera, but that’s not the real reason — it just feels irrelevant. What I wear or how it looks on me won’t help you discover your own style. Be skeptical of any recommended “finds” — even mine. Always ask yourself: Does this feel good on me? Does it fit my proportions and lifestyle right now? I’m here for you. If you have challenges or requests, send them my way. Let’s figure it out together. Download the Adjust My Crown app and start comparing clothes on your own body. Because your proportions aren’t the problem. They’re the secret. And remember: always be a thoughtful skeptic, even of my picks. Your body is one of one. Your style should be too.

The Everyday Summer Tennis Shoe That Actually Goes With Everything

Here’s the thing about summer tennis shoes: they have to pull their weight (cost-per-wear, I’m looking at you. I can’t help it. I majored in Economics). They need to go with everything you wear on a random Tuesday — whether that’s denim and a tee, a cotton midi, or leggings and a hoodie. This isn’t the moment for a one-outfit wonder. If you’re in the market for a new pair, do a little styling homework first. Start taking quick snaps of what you wear every day — nothing fancy, just mirror pics or outfit selfies and post them on Adjust My Crown. Save them in a Collection called Spring Weather or 60° Feels Like 72 or What I Actually Wear. When you’re tempted to buy something new, scroll through that album and see if the shoes you’re eyeing work with what’s already in your rotation. And a quick note for anyone spending time at dusty ballfields, playgrounds, or anywhere that’s more dirt than pavement: skip white soles. Even the cutest pair will look worn out fast when the tread turns that muddy beige that never fully scrubs off. The cost-per-wear just isn’t worth it — even if the sticker price is lower. Not sure which pair to commit to? Use your own closet as your focus group. Post polls. Compare new options against the sneakers you wore last summer. If the current contender isn’t winning? Keep scrolling. The takeaway? Choose smart, wear often, and let your shoes earn their keep. You deserve a pair that can get dressed in less than five and get on with your day. (P.S. The Louis Vuitton Sneakerina shoes will sell out fast I’m guessing) P.S. The slip on Golden Goose style looks great, and feels great, and I find myself wearing them all day, even when I’m at home, BUT, the tongue flops down so they don’t slip on without a little fussing over them. I don’t love that aspect of them because I like things EASY, so I thought I’d mention it.
